Hopecity mission believes strongly in not only providing food and clothing, but empowering others to improve themselves and their quality of life. As such, we offer seminars on the following topics, all free of charge to concession card holders:
- Budgeting.
With several accountants and financial planners on hand to answer your questions, learn how to manage your income, regardless of what you bring home. With some simple tips you can identify your day-to-day living expenses and more importantly, put some awa y for a rainy day! - Self esteem and beauty seminar for women.
We start by looking at personal grooming and how to look after ourselves. You will learn how to select the right beauty product for you and how to apply them. Discussions on "why do I feel the way I do?" and, "how can I be confident?" as well as tips to increase your self esteem makes for a great workshop. - Resume and interview techniques.
Open to those aged 16 and over, this workshop is available to those who are unemployed, school leavers and those wanting to re-enter the work force after some time away. Contact us for the dates of the next workshop / seminar.
